This isfrom the recent blizzard (2008), which gave us over a foot of snow/ice and had 60+ mph winds.  The azumaya remained totally dry inside, partly because insect screens will intercept horizontally-blowing snowflakes and sleet, but mainly because of certain roof design features.  See for yourself.
