Our Azumaya Kits are also called Japanese or Asian Gazebos.

We presently offer 6 different Gazebo / Azumaya Kits,

with Straight, Curved, and Draped Roof Versions of the Dutch Hip,

or Irimoya style Roof, with extended Ridge Beam and wide roof overhangs.

*  These Asian-Styled Buildings are Designed Western-Style, with Rafters,

Ridge Beam, Rafter Ties, and Modern mostly concealed Connectors,

instead of the Traditional Asian Roof members.

* These open-wall Azumayas can be Set into the Ground to gain lateral stability,

or set on Concrete Footings, and using Knee Braces.

Our Kits include all the Roof Structure Pieces:

Rafters, Laminated Ridge Beam, Webs, all the Blocking, Rafter and Collar ties,

the copper ridge cap, and two copper ridge/ roof flashings.

We include very detailed Assembly Instructions	Our Azumayas can be built without using a curved extended Ridge Beam

These Kits are fabricated from KD Vertical Grain Old Growth Western Red Cedar,

one of the nicest and most stable Wood for Fine Outdoor Structures.

We use such a Fine Grade because of it's beauty, strength and stability,

especially important when cutting big curves out of wide 2x12" boards,

where you want stock that won't warp, twist and crack after cutting.

* You supply the 6x8" Posts and 4x10" Beams,

the Roof Sheathing (usually 2x6 T&G) and Roofing.
