This Deck is on Mount Helix and overlooks much of coastal San Diego.

The site was a steep, completely unused canyon area next to the main house.

The decking is Ipe, screwed and plugged. The deck railing posts are vertical grain old growth western red cedar, while the segmented top cap is

yellow balau. The curved stair handrail is laminated red balau.
