We offer two Torii Gate Kits, one is fairly Detailed with round, Tapered Posts and a fairly complex "Roof", while the other is simpler with Square Posts and a curved Top Cap instead of a Roof.

Torii Gates are usually found outside of Shinto Shrines, but who says they can't be used in a

Japanese Garden Design as well !

Our Torri Gate Kits are fabricated from hand selected clear Old Growth Western Red Cedar, one of the nicest

and most long-lasting outdoor woods. All pieces come carefully detailed and hand sanded.

Tapered Post Torii with Roof -

The Torii's two Laminated Posts taper, from 6” to 4.5", and are thru-mortised to accept the straight Header Beam. The posts seat into pockets cut into the curved Main Beam.

The Main Roof Structure

( laminated Main Beam, and roof boards ) comes pre-assembled.

You just run the straight Header Beam thru the posts, bolt the Roof Structure to the posts, install roofing material, and stand in place in concrete footings.

We’ve scaled our Torri gate to fit into a garden setting, and fine-tuned its' proportions.
