This is the first view that the general public sees from the trail behind my house and it won't really change with further work, all of which is on the far side.  So, this might be considered the "finished" azumaya.

I'm finally nearing the end, at least for a month or so.  I've installed a removable mahogany "grid" next to the moon window (to get the tatami mats in and out easily), the tokonoma alcove is finished,  I'm ready to hang the door, the copper gutter and rain chain were delivered yesterday, and I've cut the decking boards for the entryway.  Basically, everything "structural" will be done next week, except for the building and installation of shoji screens, my fall/winter project.
